Torquay Art Print II
Limited time only.
This whale tale was drawn in the sand at a protest against seismic blasting in the Great Australian Bite for fossil fuel exploration. Our local community paddled out in protest against the largest seismic blasting proposal in history. The event was about protecting our coastline and ocean from future fossil fuel exploration. The seismic blasting would release blasts louder than an atomic bomb, every 10 seconds, 24 hours a day, for up to 400 days. “Research shows seismic blasting causes habitat abandonment, mating and feeding disruption, and impacts the ability of marine animals to communicate” Annie Ford, Marine Scientist. Express your love for our coastal environment with this framed coastal art print.
