A white car, a winding road, and an absolute canopy of palm trees in every direction. From up here, Thala Beach Nature Reserve looks less like somewhere in Queensland and more like a place you'd invent if someone asked you to describe paradise and you weren't trying to be modest.
Thala Beach Nature Reserve sits on a headland just south of Port Douglas in Far North Queensland, a privately protected rainforest that meets the Coral Sea. The palm grove here is one of those places that genuinely stops people in their tracks, whether you're driving through it or, as it turns out, hovering above it.

Where is Thala Beach? Thala Beach Nature Reserve is located on a headland about 10 minutes south of Port Douglas in Far North Queensland, nestled between the Daintree rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.
What sizes are available? Prints are available in XS (21x29.7cm), S (29.7x42cm), M (42x59.4cm), L (59.4x84.1cm), XL (84.1x118.9cm) and EPIC (100x150cm).
Are prints framed or unframed? Both options are available. Choose from unframed, or framed in oak, black or white.
Is this printed in Australia? Yes. All Local Breaks prints are printed on museum-grade paper by an Australian printer.
Each of my prints features a white border, enhancing their aesthetic appeal. This includes unframed prints. I do not use mats. The sizes mentioned are for the print and border combined. If you choose a frame, the total size will be a bit bigger due to the frame's thickness.
The exception is floating frame canvases, which do not have a white border.
