Watch for Wildlife
Dolphins are a regular sight from the lookout, especially in the morning. Whales pass through during migration season. And if you're walking the scrubland tracks, keep an eye out for echidnas. I've spotted them more than once on early morning shoots.
Shoot the Sunrise
Point Addis faces roughly east-southeast, which makes it brilliant at sunrise. The light hits the cliffs and the water simultaneously, and on a calm morning you get this incredible clarity across the whole bay. I usually arrive before first light to get set up.
